philip_music Brings back memories and foretells me about memories to come. Sadness and Happiness and the crash between them - to the sound of a trumpet. Favorite track: Line (the small sleep and the BIG one).

These songs were recorded in 2008 ( I think) and released on a very limited demo.
These tracks were all but forgotten until now.
This collection of songs are some of the best I've ever made and I am so happy to be able to share it with you now!

Listening to these songs for the first time in a long time, I realize my voice has gotten darker over the years...

You feel it when you wake up, you feel it in your sleep you hate what they have turned you into - all claws and teeth if this is your reflection, then something must be wrong whatever face you're putting on, you never quite seem to belong And all we ever wanted, a friend or someone calling and leave us with a feeling, it's gonna be OK oh, how I wished it would change with every new day The city streets are glowing with reflections of the moon the elevator's moving but I'll be coming back real soon, yeah, I've got diamonds in my hands, I'll throw them all around, I'll paint this faded city red, there's nothing that could keep me down. And all we ever wanted...

I meant to paint a picture of our life, I meant to dress you up in words and make you shine, I never meant to leave you in a stranger's hand but God, or whatever had other plans. I get up early and I wash my face, I see this old man, who has taken my place, I never thought I'd live to see so many days vanish into a haze But lets not make this any harder, she's long gone and won't return the rain is falling in my heart you keep appearing, when will I ever learn? Here they come marching down the street again, the lights are out, nobody's doing anything and she's a little girl again, in her head hiding under the bed But let's not push this any further, I'm not scared of anything but how come I was given this hand? No ace, no king, nothing... Well, sure there's a pattern and sure there are words; everyone listened, but nobody heard, I open my eyes and I calm myself down everything is beautiful when she is around... I meant to paint a picture of our life, I never said it would be beautiful and bright, I never said it would be like in the movies cos not much ever is I meant to get myself down to the sea, I ment to fall asleep under your favorite tree, I meant to close my eyes and never wake again, until I see you, Line dear friend until we meet again, my big queen everything is finally ending...

Lay down, lay down, lay down by my side, the world has gone mad, but I still want to see it I look for a word to calm you down Today was full of sparkling ideas, but you and me are missing it all my dear, I look for a joke to kill the frown And I wish I could say I was OK then we could call it quits, I have searched this landscape up and down and I still can't say I know it all I know, this is true; Tonight the walls are closing in on you So go on with the plan, the wind is hard but there dream is alive, I look for a way to make you smile And somebody's falling hard but silent he's on the other side the horizon chasing a star trapped in a bar Is the fever still riding you or can we call it a day? I have searched this landscape up and down and I still can't find a way all I know, this is true; Tonight the walls are closing in on you...

Anything 03:38
In the morning, you wake with your eyes closed and the phone rings but you don't want to pick it up and the radio's playing all awful melodies and you think you'll stay in bed forever all he gave you was this fever, all he left you was this feeling you're not worth anything And now summer is sleeping with Malmo, it's all ice cream and love underneath the sky and the arabs are all closing early and the dreadlocks are drinking their sorrows away all you gave me was this fever all you left me was this feeling I'm not worth anything I'm not worth anything
